Does anybody own or have shot the gunsite model colt.Just courious if the quility is there in the performance end.Been a colt fan for many years and wondering if this pistol is worth it. Any first hand info would be great. Thanks

i have one in Satin Stainless and it is the best of the best,it replaces a Bob Chow'ed Chromed 1911 with Alumagrips,and prior to that Smithed 1911 and before that Government,I have the "Grip clip" on it and it is perfect.

I have one (along with several other 1911s) and have found it to run quite well. I would recommend it.
