hand priming

Okay, maybe I am just dumber than a box of rocks but why do I keep crushing the primers?  I have an RCBS hand primer and I can't figure out how to work it.  Any ideas?  Is there anything to adjust on it?  Just squeeze softer?  I can't get any consistency.

You should be able to feel the primer when it touches the bottom of the primer pocket, ease does it. You'll catch on. I crunched a few in my day  also**************ogo
