Balsa Wood Bobber Repair

Have you noticed after you use the balsa wood bobbers for awhile the body comes loose from the stem and the paint starts cracking? I've got the cure, push the body up the stem and put some clear fingernail polish on the stem and slide the body back in place, it will glue itself in about 30 seconds or so then take and coat the whole bobber with the clear polish and it makes it waterproof and will seal up any cracks it has......
