found this on ebay, would this lube work well for the following handgun and rifle bullets 9mm, 357 mag, 45 colt, 7 mm, 243, 45-70?

I have been using Lyman super molly and it works well but it is messy.

I do not have a lube heater for my lyman 450 sizer but thinking about getting one.

I've used it on those very same handgun bullets, and then some, and up to 30-30 with good results. Haven't used it on high power rifle bullets so can't comment there.

According to the description, you don't need a heater for this lube. I've never had to use one, but it never gets much below 50, at the coldest, here, and that's usually too late or too early to be up sizing bullets anyways. :wink: :lol:

Out of curiosity, how is using the molly messy? Where's the mess coming from? On that note, you may find the alox messier. The stuff is on the soft side and can get all over the place without you knowing it. :lol:

The super moly is quite soft as well and gets all over the place when I am lubeing bullets.

javalina is a 5050 lube and its worked well for me in just about everything only problem i had with it is its a little soft for storing bullets in the summer heat.

I used it on the last batch of 44 bullets I ran through the SAECO lubrisizer. Seemed to work fine.

I make my own 50-50 Alox/Beeswax lube and run it up to almost 1900 fps in one 30-30 and about 1700 in a 38-55 with no troubles. Keep your loads out of the hot summer sun though because this stuff gets "runny" at high temps. It also runs through the sizer very well without a heater.

Thanks Rickyp. :-) I've used the moly lube and found it to actually be a bit "stiffer" than alox/beeswax lubes. You be right though. Still messy as all get out and the alox mix ain't going to get any better for ya. :lol: Good luck, pard. :-)
