Military-type Holster for Browning Hi-Power
« on: June 26, 2005, 09:07:01 AM »
I'd like to find a military-type holster for my Browning Hi-Power ... like the current-issue M-12/UM84 series.  Bianchi has them for dozens of makes & models, but not the Browning.  I've got to think that, with all the Hi-Powers out there worldwide, including many in current military service, there should be one.  Any suggestions?

PeterF:  get yourself a copy of the Shotgun News - there are at least 3 or 4 places that advertise mil-spec/mil-surp holsters for the Hi-Power.  HTH.  Mikey.

I believe a US holster for the M1911 fits a Browning HP pretty well.

The BHP was the issue sidearm of Canada, England and several other countries, there ought to be plenty of military holsters out there.

Flint is correct, just about any 1911 holster that is NOT molded will do nicely for a P35. I have used the military "tanker" shoulder holsters for both, as well as the leather flap holsters for the 1911.
