Does anybody here have experience with TC's line of rifle scopes? I live in a state that only allows 1 power scopes during muzzleloader season and my options are limited to TC, Simmons, & Burris (which is out of my price range). Your help is appreciated.

At least your state allows scopes. No clue on 1x magnification.

I live in Nebraska and they allow 1x's only. When I blackpowder hunt in Iowas they will let you put anything that you want on your muzzleloader. I used a 3x9-40 over there, trying to find a 1x scope is mor difficult than it should be.

Can you use a zero power red dot scope?

Get some QR rings then you have a 2 scope system.

This is not totally true. do some checking around
you can get an Cabela's Alaskan guide scope for $169.00 or the same in camo for $199.00

Nikon Buck master for $159.99

Talk with the Fish and wildlife around you and see if you can get one of the 1X to what ever shotgun scopes and "glue" the power ring on the #1 setting so it could not be changed in the field. Most hunters do this with out knowing they are doing this.

I have three TC scopes
1. 4x and 2. 3x9-40 hawkins hunters
All are Great scopes clear and bright.. PLus you get the TC warranty!!!! I'm sure there 1x's are great also ...

Ii've got two 3-9s and a 1.5-5. Good scopes. I just wish they made a 2-7.

If I remember correctly, T/C makes a 2-7x scope. I just put a T/C 3-9x on my .257 Roberts and am quite pleased with it.

The TC scopes are made for the by Simmons.

I have to TC 1x scope on my encore ML. They are all that you would need for a 1x piece of glass. Seem to handle the recoil, and have pretty good light transmission. The only thing wierd about them, and it probably goes for all 1x scopes, is that you can see the end of your barrel or at least the front sights thru the scope. A bit distracting but you get used to it. I have much better accuracy with it now.
