The creek that runs from Mansfield to Richland-Chambers lake
{Richland-Chambers creek} is overrun with hog.
25 years ago, my Vet Dr. Tommy Menser in Waxahachie said:
'Richland-Chambers creek is so overrun with hog that no one can grow a crop of any kind within 5 miles either direction from that big wide bottom.'
Now hog are taking over the planet and coming up ten mile creek in Dallas county. Hog even stopped traffic on I.H. 35 south of Waxahatchie,
both lanes were stopped trucks and all while a herd of 50 hog wandered across the interstate.
Last winter while out on the trapline, I heard Sandymay barking like she had treed a big Cat, I eased up to the commotion and a 500LB hog stood up, shook itself and wandered away. Sandy barking like it was a bear.
Give me a holler when you get up here, I brew homebrew and have been for 12 years. Lets get ignert and kill some hog.
