Has any one tried this stuff yet? the last russian I saw was greasy stuff bullet wise but shot ok it was not the match stuff though.

Not yet, but I'm anxious to! My particular wintertime smallbore rifle really prefers gobbed-up waxy bullets (loves anything Eley). The Russian stuff is loaded in Germany, I hear.

The "lesser" grade of the two Russians is less than $20 a brick and oughta shoot at least as well as the usual Federal 711 /CCI blue-box stuff, if I guess right.

I am not sure but I think my gunshop said it was the wolf but I have not looked at it yet so not positive can you give us a report on any differences? Jim

 I believe SK also makes Wolf. My 10/22 shoots the Wolf match extra alot better than the SK, but the guys I shoot with really like the SK standard, as well as the rifle match. You have more to choose from with the SK and the prices vary. The last brick of Wolf match extra I bought was 2.79 a box, and the Wolf match target was a 1.99. Pretty cheap for match ammo, but the only problem is finding someone who has it in stock.

All I know is the wolf stuff is a good buy for the money I just hate buying the cenerfire stuff and having throw away shells as I am getting into reloading and of course it is not reloadable at least not with out trouble I suppose you could reload it if you had to.  Jim

Finally got a chance to shoot some of the Wolf .22 last night, albeit under less than favorable conditions.

I shot the Match stuff (not the Extra) thru my dedicated AR upper indoors and it seems to shoot very well. A cursory inspection reveals greasy, almost wet lube - not dry and waxy.

I couldn't properly evaluate accuracy since I'm fighting a bad cold with little sleep, so my sight picture looked kinda like my eyeballs were smeared with Vaseline. Groups looked really good when I called 'em good and some were great! Unsure if the others were bad eyes or bad ammo. Time will tell.
