Boss question.

Can a gunsmith put a boss on a handi barrel? And if so does it really help cut the recoil down?

The pics in Mac's post were deleted by someone accidently  , but they showed 1½" 100yd groups without the De-resonator and ¾" groups with the De-resonator.

Not sure if you can or not.  I can say that they really work great on cutting down recoil.  Problem is they are LOUD.  Have one on my 7 mag and ended up taking it off for the boss with no holes.  More recoil but mabye my ears will last a little longer.  Four shots at a running yote once and my ears rang for a little over a month :(
I must be crazy.

The Boss system can be installed by a gun smith. It has a removable recoil reducer which works like any other muzzle break, loud and ear blasting in front. It does reduce recoil. The rear part has the an eccentric vibration tuner, which works well enough when you find the proper setting for a particular load or factory ammo.

The boss can be used with or without the muzzzle break.
