That load is too hot for leverguns, at least in my estimation. The hottest I have gone is 50.5 grains for the 250 Barnes. I favor the 300 Barnes Original, with 56 grains of IMR 4895 being a preferred hunting load. I, unlike most other .45-70 and .45-90 users, have a preference for lighter bullets. Out west, the heavier bullets are not as reliable for some of the longer shots that are required when hunting deer and pigs. The 350 Hornady RN is the largest bullet I have used in my guns. It is an Elk killer, for sure.
