Sealer/Protectant for Inside of Wood Stock?

I have a Remington 700 CDL that I have glass bedded, and was wondering what you guys use to seal the inside of the wood stock to keep it from warping.  Is this even necessary?  I would hate to have it properly bedded only to have warpage from moisture change my POI.

Spar urethane?  Regular polyurethane?

My son has used spar varnish to seal the inside of his stock. He applied three thin coats.

If you're going to use spar varnish as a sealer, reduce it 100% and lay it on. Keep applying the reduced "sealer" until the wood will no longer soak it in; wipe off the excess and let it dry for a few days. If you're planning to add finish, a very thin coat of shellac over the varnish/sealer will keep the top coats from soaking into the sealer and make filling the grain a lot easier.

Truoil would be my suggestion.  I have used it with very good results.

I use poly on new jobs or refinisges or wax if a factory job..  Either seem to work just fine.  TruOil and most varnishes or not waterproof.

Dolph26,
I use a coat of acraglass Painted on with a brush. Just mix it without the glass floc, and spread it out in a shallow flat container. It will take longer to setup because the chemical reaction is faster when it is allowed to generate heat.

If you glassed the stock and it still changes POI. You've  either not relieved the stock enough, or didn't make the glass thick enough to remain ridged. If I'm going to the trouble to glass the stock, I don't scrimp on the glassbedding. I buy the shop kits that include a Qt of resin and always mix more than what's needed
