Windbreaker layer

Do any of you guys have a light windbreaker that you can use that goes over some of the layers?  Do you always need a windbreaker if you have a lot of layers on.  Do you know of any that don't make a lot of noise?  I have heard not to use them if you want the wicking to work the best?  Please any and all thoughts on this.   Buckfever

In the mean time since this post I have found exactly what I was looking for.  Cabelas has a Legacy Fleece product.  It is micro fleece in a Henley pull over.  It has wind and scent protection and is made to be used as a layering garment.  $49.00....up to 3XL.  Thought I might get this to the board if someone else has the need.   Buckfever

Buck, I was hoping someone could answer your first post, as I myself was curious, but didnt have the answer either.

As for that Legacy Fleece product from Cabelas--I looked that one up. Good price too. I think I may go with that over the  Ullfrotte Merino thermal underwear that you had previously posted on. I have never been much of a guy who has had wool, however I know that fleece sure is comfy to me.

Keep posting Buck, you are bringing some good ideas/items that I miss while paging right on past them in the catalogs.
