last night i had ne an idear. this summer i plan to fish for a week at a lodge near soiux lookout. what if we turned into some sort of get together for forum members? the rates are very good and the pictures on the site show some incredible fish.the website is; www.harrisbay.com. it is a five hour drive from winnipeg and is probably longer from the toronto-hamilton area. if anyone is interested please contact me by email or pm. just a thought  :D

That's a little far for me.  Winnipeg's about 1,300 miles from Ottawa, so I'd guess I'd be looking at 1,000 miles or so to Sioux Lookout.

I might go that far for hunting  - but I'm not that much of a fisherman.

i might also go back in the fall for a combination fishing and grouse hunting trip.
