I spoke with Gordon Klemp the owner of the new 1k range. They have 12 benches to date, with a covered shooting area. No clay pigeons here as they have a steel gong the size of the bull for each target for sighters. Match days are on Saturdays with the whole day Friday being a practice day. They will allow handgun shooters , but they do not have a handgun class like Iowa does-YET! He said that if there is enough interest he would make a handgun class that followed the guidelines that Iowa does.
They will allow the handguns to shoot in the light gun and in the heavy gun class. As of yet, they do not have a stock class. Likely next year it will be available though.
