One in a Million chance....

Mounted a 6x Bushnell on my T/C Contender .22 LR Match Carbine today then went out to line the scope up. The scope had not been bore sighted, I just put it on and tightedned everything down and Ill be damned if that scope aint dead on at 50 yards. Id hate to think of what the odds of this happening are, Ive never seen or even HEARD of this happening before in my years of shooting. Anyone else ever had this happen?

As a matter of fact it happened to me this last Dec. I did some tradin for a 375JDJ and it arrived on wed. nite. On thursday nite we was heading too Penna. to do some deer hunting on the farm. Ohio deer gun season was going on at the same time. So, when barrel arrived I mounted the 4x Burris scope on the 12" barrel and then took the dies that came with it and loaded up a round(after forming from a 444). It was 9:00 pm and snowing outside when I put up a target at 25yards and shot(WOW!! what a fire show). I walked out to the target and there was the hole DEAD center in the bull. Thinking that was an accident I loaded up another and shot it, toching the 1st hole. I then loaded up 20 rounds and the next morning at daylight I shot @ 100yds and dead centered the bull also. No bore sighting was done at all. On friday I killed a doe @ 150 yards with it.

Over the years I've mounted three or four scopes and had them shoot right on at 100 yds.. It just makes your whole day when it happens.

And the last one I did was feet low and it still do'nt shoot for @#$#@^.
