three good .45/70 Loads
« on: July 18, 2005, 03:42:10 PM »
I finally got to the cabin this weekend and shot several different loads out of my 45/70 handi rifle. Scope used was a  weaver V4.5  Three loads shot great all three touched at 50  and 100 yards when i did my part. The first was a winchester factory 300JHP  Second was using once fired starline brass-cci-200 primers-speer 400 flat sp bullets-with 40.0 of IMR4198 The third and my favorite  load  was using 3 times fired starline brass-cci-br2 primers-hornady 350 fp bullets-with 45.0 of IMR4198. Like i said i loaded up several different loads but these three were outstanding, and i just wanted to share them with you . Later Tanoose
