Marlinman that is certainly a very nice collection.  I am pretty sure they all shoot as good as they look.

Thanks jrkrk!  Yes, they are all good shooters. That's a prerequisite for the guns I own. Pretty is nice, but if a gun wont shoot good too, I don't have much use for it. I have some more, but don't want to dominate the post. Let's see some other guy's rifles!
Wish I had a picture of a Sharps for you, but I honestly don't own one, not even a repro. But someday I hope!

Very nice singleshots gentlemen. I especially like your schuetzen rifles marlinman. Is that first stevens schuetzen a model 51? If so I would love to see a better picture of it if at all possible. I am building my first rifle right now and it's a straight gripped 51 and the more pics the better. I'd post pics but it's in peices, hopefully soon. BTW wanna sell that schoyen ballard?............J/K.................John

Schuetzenkid,
The first Stevens 44 1/2 pictured is a Stevens model 47, with optional Pope lever, and heavy schuetzen buttplate. As with many Stevens rifles, it's tough to pin them down to one model, since Stevens offered many options within a particular model. The only way to really pin them down is to look at the front of the receiver. Mine is marked "047" there.
The second Stevens in .25-21 is closer to the model 51, except for the different lever of the Ideal Schuetzen, vs. the hooked lever with wood insert of the model 51.
Which lever does your 51 have?
 Hope this helps.
