Ron, David had just recently done a rim counterbore on my VVCG 7mm-08. He rec'd. the barrel on a Wednesday, and I had it back the following Monday. His work, at least for me, was prompt as I had inquired about the work to him in advance, and it is professionally done.

He has a spot on another forum ....mostly deals with break open guns. Does alot of rechamber work for the various Contender, NEF type guns but doesn't build barrels from blanks. I have a rechamber project I am having him do when I can supply the donor barrel. From what I can gather he does excellent work........
I know of no issues with the quality of his work and he has many repeat customers.

I don’t personally own any barrels by David, but have read very good things about his work.  Think he can rechamber for just about anything.
His business is about 15 miles from me; so if anyone wants his contact info, shoot me an email.

The best way I can describe David Whites work is, excellent work at a great price! I have had him rechamber 3 barrels, throat a 45-70, put his maximizer break on 3 barrels and put a modified 6 screw weaver style base on 4 barrels. I have been nothing but pleased with the quality of his work and the end results of his work( accuracy and performance improvements)!

Is it avaiable in various lengths or just 4 inches? And how much does he charge to mount one on a barrel? Thanks for any info. Also does anybody have a phone number for him? I have free Long distance so sometimes it better to talk in person to folks. Thanks for any help.

As of last week, his price was $80. That price is for him to make and install the brake. I beleive he will make the break any length you want . A brake longer than 4" may cost more, but I'm not sure. I dont have his phone number but you may be able to get it from the internet phone book. His address is 644 Randall Circle Pearl Mississippi 39208. Or try long distance information. He has a spot on Mike ***** forum with a direct link.

I can highly recommend his work.  H recently rechambered a 44 mag carbine barrel to 444 Marlin and installed a 6 screw base.  After I got it back I decided to change one small thing and sent it back.  He did what I asked and didn't charge me any extra.

I have two of his rechambers, a 22lr-22K hornet and a 35 rem to 358 Bellm.  Excellent work, very fast turn-around, very accurate barrels.  I highly recommend him.

He built a 6mm-284 Rem XP-100 for me that shoots groups under .5 easily @ 100 yards and that is with non-fireformed loads.  Was making one-shot connections with it while shooting from the prone position in a field shoot at ranges out to 600 yards.
Still doing load development with this XP and plan to use it for a one mile shoot (with SP's only) in late July.

When he started back into business, I had him do a 300 Bellum on my 30 Herrett.  He also installed a six screw scope mount.  The work was done very well and he is easy to work with.
If it makes any difference, he is a Christian man who does his best to honor the Lord with his work.  It certainly made our conversations go up a "caliber" or two.

I can't give the link because the web page he uses is a banned name here.
