Can a barrel band swivel be added without having to reblue the barrel?         Thanks,    Curly

Uncle Mike's of Oregon sells 3/4 barrel bands for swivels for many rifles, especially levers.  The 3/4 band is designed to be installed without taking the rifle apart.  HTH.  Mikey.

Full barrel bands could be added without rebluing although rebluing is commonly done as the bands are usually soldered into place.  I added a couple after the rifle was complete.  Pinned them in place.  The bands' bore has to be a good fit and a cross slot cut into the bottom of the barrel(very small) and they worked just fine.
