Help with switching safety
« on: September 10, 2005, 08:37:57 AM »
Hello I just bought a Winchester super X 2 and I need to switch the safety over to LEFT hand safety. The user book says that it can be switched but does not show / tell me how to do it.

Can anybody help me with this?

Please.

Thank You

If I remember correctly, the safetys are the same as on the Browning Golds. Pull your trigger assy out, and look to the rear upper of the assy, above the safety. There is a U shaped clip, slide it out and the check ball, and flip your safety selector to the other side. Reinstall on the left side.

If you have problems with it, shoot me a pm.
