Wow - you are all roasting! It is a cool 15 C here in New Zealand during the day. I guess that must be around 55-60 F?? Very nice either way. Throw on your fleece jacket, tighten the boots, adjust the hat and carry the H&R off into the hills...

Here is a question I use to ask customers. What did you do before you had air conditioning? But only in a joking way  . Can you see why I don't ask that any more?

Well i thought i had a little bit of relief today..........man was i wrong.        Around 7PM it looked like a thunderstorm was rollin in and the wind got up really bad and the temp. dropped considerablely. About 7:30 it started pouring rain for about 10 min. then it quit. After that the humidity was so high it was hard to breathe outside..... ........I can't believe these temps. I heard on the news monday that tues. and weds. was gonna be the hottest days since 2001 here in East TN.

I live 1 hour west of Toronto and it has been too hot for us 33 to 35 C. We are not accustomed to these temperatures.

The rest of the week is supposed to be 27C so I'll go hunting woodchucks Fri or Sat.

Stay cool.

It's a warm 79deg here in my front yard at 6:30PM.  I don't have AC so we open all the windows at night when the temp drops to the low 50s or high 40s and cool down the house.  We then close all the windows and curtains, the house then maintains a nice 72deg all day.  Now you know why I don't live down there.  Rog

What Is A Veteran?
A 'Veteran' -- whether active duty, discharged, retired, or reserve -- is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to 'The United States of America,' for an amount of 'up to, and including his life.' That is honor, and there are way too many people in this country today who no longer understand that fact.

Hey guys, along with the heat like nomosendero said we didn't have hardly any rain in NE Arkansas in June, one guy in Maynard Ar. said that it was so dry that his pond had bullfrogs that were 6 months old and still couldnt swim. :)

Seems like it's been warm all over the states lately. The psat 3 days with the heat humidity index (still don't see how this works) it has been from 98-103! Nasty stuff. Hard to get a barrel to cool down in something like this...Oh-well.
