Does the thing that kick the 209 primer out have a spring in it?
If so I lost mine last night. I just got the gun yesterday.

What is the sense in preserving collectible items just so they can be auctioned off by uncaring heirs for their pecuniary value ? I am inclined to believe that vintage cars are to be driven, old wine is to be drank, and fine guns are to be shot.

No,no spring in the extractor.It is a manual extractor.

It will be a lot easer to clean your T/C if you keep the 209 ejector out of it. You don't need it, try it with out it and see.

The Winchester W209 primers stick in my Encore even with the ejector in place. I am using loose triple 7 FFg in both the .45 and .50 barrels. I just take a forked tool made by traditions to flick the used primer out.  I think this is caused by the humidity in the air when I shoot this time of year. (Too hot to shoot now.)  I don't have this problem when it turns colder.

Very hot and humid here right now and
Win209 primers aren't sticking in mine at
all,they pop right out with the extractor.
