2 barrels has meant 2 forestocks
« on: July 25, 2005, 12:16:28 AM »
Got a welcome call from the NZ importer of H&R to say they have fitted the 45-70 barrel and will be back to me tomorrow but with the news that it is coming with its own forestock because the .243 superlight forestock won't fit the thicker 45-70 barrel, thought I would let you all know if anyone else was to get one of the superlights and were getting a thicker barrel fitted,
regards Howard.

Howard,

I use a 12 gauge forearm on my SL Hornet barrel.    It is floated for sure and I don't have any problem with it on any barrel I choose to use.
