Howdy.

Just joined up. I am very pleased to find a site that has fellow DW owners/enthusiasts. I only have one DW (for now) it's a nice 44-10. I wish I had the whole kit, but I am just happy to have this one. It's my silhouette shooter, and I'm just now getting into the sport.

Cool those shoot great.
What caliber is it?10" barrel?
I have a Early Blued Monson Mass. 15-2 in 357 Magnum and have 4",6" & 8" barrels..
It shoots very well.
I just added Millett rear sights and haven't shot it yet with the new sights.
You'll love this Forum..
We need to liven it up a Bit around here.

HEY,
I JUST JOINED RECENTLY AS WELL. THERE IS A WEALTH OF INFO TO BE HAD HERE. A LOT OF WELL INFORMED PEOPLE TO CONNECT WITH ALSO. OH, I HAVE A MODEL 15 PISTOL PACK, AND A 744 WITH AN 8" AND A 4".

A second on the "Welcome".  This is a great forum!  It is so good to have access to instant information on our favorite handguns.   Remember, don't substitute our judgement for your own, and you'll get lots of help.

DW, you're right about things being awful quiet around here.  Kind of miss the activity that was happens a few weeks ago.  Perhap as fall approaches and our lives slow down a bit, we have more time for corresponding.

Sorry, I shouldn't have called it a 44-10 (darn newbies). It is a 44V with a 10 inch barrel.


It's nice, but likes to jump back/forward to already fired cylinder once in a while. Maybe I'm limp wristing it. ?

I have a 445 SM (same frame as 44M but longer) and had a problem with the cylinder not locking up after rotating. Found the crane lock tab broken and a piece of it  interfering with the cylinder lock. Got a new one from CZ, p/n 0013007... crane lock large frame... $4.95 plus $1.50 shipping, fast delivery..3 days. Also got extra barrel nut..p/n 0012024-N stainless..$8.95. Hope this helps.

Howdy, schick I own a mod. 15 pistol pack in .357mag. with 4",6" & 8" barrels and have 3 different grips for it. It covers my revolver needs quite nicely. I like it a lot and I am shur you will like your .44 as well. Mine is very accurite and a pleasure to shoot.
