Slug shooting in a smoothbore

How many here shoot alot of slug rounds through their smooth bore shotguns? When I was younger I shot slugs in mine all the time and never thought that it may damage the gun or not.

I just had a ultra slug barrel fitted to my nef 10 ga.  but i still use my Ithaca  model 37 with a deerslayer barrel , smoothbore imp.cylinder. I use winchester 2 3/4" rifled slugs  at 1600 fps. Dead on at 50 yds with a2" group at most and only a 3" drop at 100yds  with a 4"group(at most)

Over the years I've shot tons of foster slugs through 12 and 20ga mod choked guns with no ill effects. I used to shoot them with a cyl bore 870 with rifle sights into about 2" at 50 yards. I think they're fun to plink with.
PROUD REDNECK CONSERVATIVE

I'd much rather be remembered for being a great shot than having the most expensive gun

I have shot alot of slugs thru my NEF shotguns with no ill effects. All of the guns have a modified choke. The accuracy has been good enough for me to shoot deer and coyotes out to 75 yards.
