I was wondering if anyone has done any modifications to their mod 60 stocks.Picked another one up in a pawn shop for 45.00. Thought that I might try something differant. Thanks in advance for any info.

I bought a 917v that the stock looked like pallet wood. I took the barrel off and all the hardware.Took it to the local body had it rino lined had the barrel channel taped off. after i got it home the barrel channel needed some sanding done on it. put a sheep casterating band on the barrel lug were the bolt goes through to conect the barrel to the stock. Have had several comments about how good this gun looks & how durable it is.
The body shop man is doing more guns than pickups. It also shoots very well with the vari x2 leupold 3x9.
