Anyone have any experience with the Kel-Tec P11 in 9mm?? I have seen a few at local shops and there is a web site of P11 owners who say it is a damn good gun for the couple of hundred bucks that it costs. Has a lifetime warranty and made down in Cocoa, Florida. I know the company has been around doing firearms since about 1995. Anyone have a Kel-Tec P11 or hear anything about them other than the trigger pull is a long one and they are DAO and would have to be in order to be a subcompact. Thanks for any info anyone can provide.

Ken I have one and I carry it about 8 out of the 10 days during the summer mounths, any other time I am usually carring a smith 6906 but back to the kel-tec I dont feel like I need anything else when I have it, it has always performed for me without any problems, yes the trigger is a long and stiff one but its not a target pistol either, lots of folks will tell you how in-accurate they are but none of them will volenteer to stand in front of you to prove it either, I likew mine it does what it is designed to do provide 11 rounds in a lightweight small reliable pistol,

Thanks for the info on the Kel-Tec. I think any pistol that size has a reliable range for accuracy in the vicinity of 7 to 10 yards. Anything else is a stretch. I did get to fire one and was able to hit the paper at 50 feet with two hands using a standard NRA Bullseye Slow Fire target. Put 20 rounds down it and hit the paper about 12 times!!! I have heard that they are also prone to some malfunctions until you put several hundred rounds through them. Most of the malfunctions were feed problems but people say those go away after breaking it in and keeping it clean. Again, thanks for the info. :eek:

I tote my P-11 and I find that it shoots better the more I use it. I did have some minor polishing work done (fluff&buff). I like the P11. Never had the first misfire or any problems with it.

My wife and I each own a P-32 and a P-11. That's 4 of the critters between us! When the new .380 hits the market I'll own at least one of those. Two if my wife finds out about it! We own a couple dozen other handguns, Glocks, Kimbers, Rugers, Smiths as well as others (need to reinventory) For CCW it's the KTs that get the nod about 80% of the time. IMHO the best buy on the market for CCW!!
