OT What to do w/ my daughters, nee ideas
« on: October 09, 2005, 05:24:32 PM »
Hi guys, I'm a single Daddy of two girls, 6&14.  I love my girls and gladly would (and have) give up anything for them, they have been my entire life. Lately I've been having this crazy dream about buying a bear and moose camp and running that for 4 months a year and then going back to my regular job the rest of the year.  That would mean my daughters would  be gone from thier friends and school for a few months a year as well.  My oldest hates the idea right off, but my youngest wouldn't mind at all.  I guess I'm just lookin for general advice;  I will probably have to wait 'til the oldest leaves the nest . Even then, would it be fair to my youngest to drag her up to the remote Northwoods? away from every body except her Daddy and his clients? If so, how would I handel her schooling?(She would miss almost two months)  Maybe I should bury this dream too? Any thoughts?

Maybe  you should go to college for a while and learn to be a teacher and
when the oldest moves out then you and your younger daoughter can move to the woods
But thats only my Idea. Hope it works out for you and your daughters  :-)
Have Fun
