Buttstock Cheek Pad or Riser
« on: July 29, 2005, 05:07:23 AM »
I just mounted my scopes on my Encore (Maxima Bases and LOW Maxima rings) and the scope is still too high for me to get proper cheek weld.

Is anybody using a stock pack or similar to raise their cheek on the stock, if so please post pics.

Not getting any response so I figured I would chime in?  I use Medium Warne rings and the same bases you do and mine fits me perfectly?  I am 6'3" so maybe my neck is longer?  I can "cheek up" with my eyes closed and I am usually within just a smidge of having a perfect picture through my scope.  All are Nikon Monarchs in either 3-9x40, 3.5-10x50 or 5.5-16.5x44.  I wish I knew what to tell you?  I guess you could buy one of those lace on cheek pieces or the Beartooth model that you can add to or take away from?

Thanks for the reply. I guess I will buy the Eagle Ind. one that I saw on an Encore recently.
