Not to mention in the face of some of his own party members.  Bolton should fit right into the flock of Chicken Hawks that roost at the White House, he is yet another advocate of war who found a way to avoid serving in one.  No doubt he, like the other members of this flock, had other priorities.

I have mixed feelings.

On the one hand, Bolton is the first person to come along in many years who is actually qualified for the job.

On the other hand, it's a great deal of fuss over a job that's about as important as the meter maid posiiton in Missoula, Montanna.
