I have a Marlin 375 and have considered selling it at a gun show next month. I would say i is 90%-95%. would 500.00 be about right to ask for it?

Way high if I were a potential buyer. Even new Marlins don't sell for that much around here. I've not paid over $250 for a used one yet and doubt I will.

I haven't seen a .375 for sale around here in years.....I really don't know what they are bringing.........the typical marlin 30.30 or .35 remington in very good condition will bring $285 to $325....My feeling is that it's quite a bit more than I'd want to pay.......You might start at $500 but be prepared to move down if you really want to sell it..........I'd really like to find a good .375.......to keep my other lever action Marlins company............please let us know when you sell it, as I'd be curious to know what the rifle brings........

Just seen one here in Canada for the first time. The Marlin version is scarce so it would command a good price.
The price is only going to go up with time

The one I saw was going around 700. Canadain.
So take a good look at the rifle .

Do you really want to dump it ?

GB, If you ever see a decent .375 for $250 grab it and send me the rifle and a bill!!! I'll even throw in extra for your trouble. Been looking for one I can afford for a while. Guess I'll have to make a trip down South

I wouldn't bother coming south to look for one. I live in Southwest Mississippi and I've had to go elsewhere to find one. While I did not pay $500 for a used one, I did pay significantly more than I really thought one was worth to get a good used one. Just not a lot of them around and even the ever present Marlin 30-30 lever gun is going for more than $250 around here...if it's in decent shape, anyway.

I guess if you just stumbled across someone with a clean Marlin 375 for sale who was in a rush to sell it you might get it for under $400, but you'd have to get really lucky or live in an area where they sold a lot of them so that there were a number of good used ones for sale to help keep the price in line.

Anyway, that's my experience in looking for one for the past 6 months for what that's worth.
