Encore slug barrel

Does it hurt to shoot regular shells not slugs in the barrel
also how about steel shot over lead???

Never tryied it but I bet the pattern would not be that good.  What is the reason for doing so?  I'm sure you now they make smooth bore barrels for the encore.

I was wondering if I can shoot buckshot in barrel along with slugs.

Yes, you can do it but with poor results.  The rifling causes the shot cup to spin which will cause the shot pattern to prematurely scatter.  If you want to shoot both get a smoothbore barrel and use a rifled choke tube for the slugs.  I use the turkey barrel as it is drilled and tapped for a scope base.
