QUESTION ON 45/70 EXTRA BARREL

I was thinking in ordering a 45/70 barrel for my Handi -06,but before I send the action in to H@R will I have any problem with the high comb stock ,when it comes to the iron sight on the barrel? :D  :-D

Yep, I could hardly get my face down low enough to get sighted.... you will have to scope the 45-70 barrel.  8)

My 45-70 barrel open sights are useless with my .243 superlight stock being to high it is no worrrys as I will be putting a low power scope on it,

More than likely you'll need to scope it or use a different stock on it. There are exceptions to this, however.....my peep sighted 45-70 works fine with the laminated pallet wood stock that came on my .204 Ruger, I compared it to other pallet wood stocks and the comb on it is definetely lower, low enough to use the WGRS sight on the 45-70.
