im glad you got your mold Bob and i hope it works good for you.i have a 44mag contender barrel on its way and im going to shoot it with 44mag ammo first.if it shows signs of being a good shooter a reamer will be in order.i will post something about the 445 super mag reamer sometime soon.the 445 will make a great heavy hitter in the contender and in the handi rifle

Got my mold yesterday. Was looking at it closer this morning and it needs a realy good deburring, more so than single or double cavity Lee I have ever used. Before you guys go dumping lead into 'em, get yourself some magnifying glasses (I need 2x these days for this) and examine all the edges of the cavities and remove the burrs. This can be done with an Exacto knife (Don't dig or cut, use it to lift and flip the burr) some use pencil eraser. Over at www.castboolits.gunloads.com/ there is an article on deburring new molds. Click on the "Check out the articles" line/link and you will find the info there. Failure to do this before casting will cause a lot of headaches.

Edit: fixed link
