If they had, had at least a 30gr bullet out and the ammo cost was better I might well have bought that over the 22 mag I just got. I'm fairly sure ammo will come down to 22mag levels sometime but not untill all the other makers get in. At least Rem, Win, Federal and CCI. I don't know if they can even put 30 or 40 gr bullets in them. I don't see why not but it would hurt muzzle velocity. However down range it would pass up the 22wmr in the same weight. Light (and 17gr is LIGHT) bullets are for LIGHT critters. I watched more than a few 1200 or so pound steers dropped with one shot 22mag. Course had they been shot in the body they would've prolly took a half a box and 15 minutes to expire. That is IF the corral held!!
