Do any of you know anything about this reloader? I am looking to get set up for loading and have found a used one in really good shape. Any input would be great. Happy Hunting!

Great press!  I've got one and have loaded cartridges from the 7.62x39 length class to the 8mm Rem Mag length, and never had a problem.  It should serve you well.  I think I heard that they have discontinued the Reloader Special 5.  That's too bad because I would buy one again if I needed another press.

Hope this helps,
-Matt

I saw one new on the shelf yesterday, they still make them, it is all that I use.  It is long enough to handle the Ulta-Mags and still handles my .45 Colts just fine.  It has an 'offset' design so that you can see into the work area very nicely.  You wont regret the purchase.  It also has the spring loaded primer arm, that I really like.  You can really  whip out some nice ammo with it.
....make it count

That's what I started with and am still using.  Inherited all of my dies from my father who used a Rock Chucker.  I had to set the dies down further for the Reloader but that was no problem.  A friend loaned me a set of Lee dies once that did not have enough threads to allow for them to be used in this press.  That is the only problem I've ever had with it.  Loading stuff from the 22 Hornet to the 458 Winchester.
If I can make it go bang it can't be that hard to do.

Just a quick comment on Reloader's comment about Lee dies in the Reloader Special 5 press.  I have many sets of the Lee dies and they all work fine in my RS-5.

Hope this helps,
-Matt

Lee dies

I didn't mean to imply that all Lee dies wouldn't work in this press as I have several sets that work fine.  That one set I borrowed wouldn't allow the sizer die to be put in far enough to size the case without running out of threads.  Haven't seen one I've had trouble with since and at the time I never did any measurements on it.   :?
