Montana Gold bullets, bulk 240 jsp, 44 cal $8.  Load unifromly and cycle fine in my 1894.  We'll see how they shoot pretty soon but I was wondering if anyone has used them on game and how did they perform?

I've shot 85 of the 100 I purchased and I must say I am impressed.  From my 70s era Marlin 1894 with Open sights from a bench at 50 yards the groups ranged from 1-3/8 to 2"   Most in the groups has smaller 3-4 shot clusters under 1".  Wind, shooter error, fatigues could have all been factors.

My best 5 shot 100 yard group was 3-1/4"

Powder used was 2400 (18.7gr)
