jtd:
I own one of the two-tone 22A models with the Hi-Viz sights and wood grips. I've put quite a few rounds down range with my 22A and I've found that the higher velocity rounds tend to hang-up far too often...and I too have run quite a few Blazers though it with the same effect.
On the flip side, I've found low velocity rounds (Wolfe, Rem Subsonics, etc.) work VERY well in this pistol. In fact, I rarely shoot anything other than Rem Subsonics through my 22A anymore. It's my round-of-choice for this pistol.
One last thing...this gun seems to require more cleaning and more frequent lubrication than most. Perhaps do to the materials used to make the slide and frame or just by design. In addition, it seems the gun jams more frequently after a new buffer has been installed...nothing to prove that, just my gut feeling.
Overall, it's a neat gun to shoot when all you want to do it roll tin cans and punch paper for fun. Not as accurate or as reliable as some...but a lot of fun to shoot anyway. Hope yours works out as well for you as mine does for me.
Be Safe! ...Chris
