Replacement scope base for #1

Who makes them?  

I'm looking at a #1 that has had the quarter rib removed and need a suggestion other than replacement base/rings from Ruger that will add $120 to the cost of the rifle and push it over the good deal threshold.

Dwane:  Weaver is showing a 0ne piece in the Brownells cat. #955-010-085 (85) should be abt $3.15 + ship.  JIM

The only problem with the Weaver front base is that it has to be shimmed to work.
