I like 777 pellets ( 2 or 3 ) and Powerbelt 295 and 348 grain. I use the 25 ACP Conversion in my Omega and Rem 209 ML primers in my Traditions Pursuit LT.

I use 2 Pyrodex pellets and a 295 grain Powerbelt. This load did shoot through both shoulders of a small (100 #) hog at about 60 yards. Dropped him on the spot. I'll be going to the range today to try out some 777 pellets. If it really is easier to clean, I'll switch. If not, Pyrodex has always worked well for me. Sounds like you got a deal on the rifle. Those hogs better watch out!
