Does anybody know anything about the .450 marlin caliber now being offered by NEF?  What kind of balistics does it have?  Thanks

I don't know if you realize it or not, but the rifle in .450 Marlin is no longer available from NEF/H&R, the barrel is still on the list, but whether it's available is another question....

Like Quick said...it's only offered in the barrels now...but you can still find them on a few dealers shelves. It offers the same ballistics of what many of us have been achieving by loading our 45-70's up...the brass and ammo cost more...when you can find it on store shelves...other than that...if you don't mind reloading belted cases...I say go for it :-D if you want...

If you don't handload, factory ammo available for the .450 Marlin is very limited....on the other hand, factory ammo available for the 45-70 is abundant...This list is a couple years old, so there are some changes....
