Moon Phases

Can anyone shed any light on moon phases? Is there any validity to it? If you could hunt any phase you wanted, which would it be? Is it a major or minor player in the grand scheme of fall deer movement? Sorry to ask so many questions, but I am just trying to stack the deck in my favor as much as possible.

Jim there was a fellow who was doing a study of that type for the last couple years, do a search in this forum if you know how as I dont and see if you can locate the published info he posted, I just watch them every day and then when the season opens I will pick one out. :D    JIM
