All,

Just wondering if anyone has a stainless barrel on a blued receiver? I have seen this on several custom bolt rifles and was wondering how it would look on a handi? Any pics?

I may be changing my mind on a 30-30 project for my son and go the 270 route. So, I just saw where a stainless 270 barrel is available.

I know I am not the first person to think of this. I have seen a bunch of T/C's done this way, so I know there is a handi out there. Let's see a pic.

I've got a stainless 223 and a ultra 243....and I have swapped the barrels just to see if they locked up okay, which they did,,and shot them on the opposite receivers also with no problem. I don't have any pics.....but take my word for it,,they don't look bad. Pretty neat actually!
