From trash to target
« on: August 22, 2005, 03:28:48 PM »
Saved this old big electrical box from the dumpster in a project I was inspecting last week, and with $7.12 investment on materials and some work, turned it into a large outdoors pellettrap/backstop and practice field target that works pretty fine.  Although the 1/8" thick steel faceplate is fixed, only the shots completely inside the holes are capable of droping the bull'seyes, like in the genuine field targets.  A single cord pull is all that's needed to reset all three bull'seyes at a time.
