Wal Mart quit selling guns in California.  Apparently, they are emptying the California company warehouses of guns.  A couple of stores around here got some good deals on clearance Weatherby Vanguards again.  If you are in the market for a bolt gun it might be worth a look.  They had some Vanguards at $250 again.  Another person in the company said that the boxes were very dusty and the guns had 2001 and 2002 manufacturing dates.  Just a heads up it is worth asking the local behind the counter.  I am going to be keeping an eye out for a 7 Mag.

Thanks for the "heads up". I'd like to have one of the Vanguards in a 22-250 now. Got one of the 30-06's last year and right after the first of the year was able to find one that was left over in a .270 Have since sold the .270 tho. 30-06 is 3/4" shooter with the right loads and I'd love to have that 24" barrelled 22-250 for next year's PD hunt.
