Marlin Glenfield 30a 30-30

It has no serial #, wondered what year model it was. It was my pops old gun, it has beautiful buck and oak leaf engraving on the stock. I'm guessing it was around 1970, anyone have any info?

I had one, I would guess later in the 70s though, maybe as late as 1980
