.44 CARBINE

Im thinking of getting a .44 mag carbine barrel for my G2.  Does anyone have one?  If so how does it shoot?  What length barrel do you have? What velocities are you getting?

I haven't owned any carbine length Contender barrels, but I have owned a couple Ruger and Winchester .44 rifles.  I had no trouble getting 2000+fps with 200gr XTP's out of the 18.5" barrel of the Ruger, and closer to 1800 with 240's.  All shot very well out to 50 yards, which is as far as I tried that particular day.
