Good day at the range
« on: August 19, 2005, 03:58:33 PM »
Today wallyworld finally got my 22 mag sportster in.  I slapped a scope on it and headed for the range.  There was an "oklahoma breeze" blowing (15-20 mph) toward my back.  Once I finally got it on the paper at 100 yds, managed one three shot group of less than 1 inch.  Trigger is pretty heavy.  Does anybody know if H&R will do a trigger job on the rimfires?

Also put a scope on my 45-70 handi.  Good move, got a 1 inch group with that too!

Yes, the factory will do a trigger job on a rimfire or you can do it yourself (directions are available in the FAQ). If the trigger is over 5 lbs. as you have it they will do the trigger job for free!!! Ask the to bring it to as low as they can go. I may be mistaken but that may be around 2.5 lbs....<><.....

Congrats on the 22 Mag!! Another option if you're the DIY kind, is to do your own trigger job....
