For starters I want to thank everyone that replied to my previous thread.
http://www.graybeardoutdoors.com/phpbb2/viewtopic.php?t=71972In that thread I asked about using a single powder for two calibers. I got great responses to this question. I also got some replies that led me to believe some of what I said might have been skimmed over.
I already own the reloading tools for both calibers as well as brass and bullets for both. with that said, I'm not going to not use this stuff, so factory ammo is out, it's too costly, that was my main reason for reloading in the first place.
I will also be trying several powders, eventually. I probably should have mentioned that out of the 4 reloading books I have, there were several powders listed for both calibers that were the same. I was just looking for a recommendation so that I could load a few rounds for both my rifles to try out, without having to worry about switching powders between the two calibers, exercising the KISS theory. After I get the hang of every aspect of the reloading sequence, I fully plan to try various recipes.
I thank you all for your responses, and I believe it appears I'll be trying out some IMR4350 for starters. Heading to the gun shop in the morning!
