Does anyone make a no-drill scope mount that clamps to the topstrap of a Vaquero? If not, wonder why not ... seems like a good idea.

:? :shock: Not sure weather those designed for the BH's would work or not - unfamiliar how they attach. If they don't I can't say I'm really surprised. The folks that these are designed for primarily, the CASS crowd have no reason for such an accessory.

Seems like a scope would defeat the whole purpose of a Vaquero in the first place... A good reliable "cowboy" pistol.

A BH hunter, or SRH were built with scopes in mind.

Bill, I don't think it would be practical to put a scope on a Vaquero. I guess it could be done but you would kill the gun for what it was intended.
The Vaquera was Rugers answer to the old colt and some of the Cow Boy
Look alikes. In my opinion it woud be foolish to mount a scope on one.

Actually I'd rather see an internal laser in the ejector rod housing........

At first glance, nothing out of the ordinary.......

Then...........................
